PBIS

Overview:
Our School is using PBIS Rewards to help us with our PBIS program. PBIS Rewards is a technology-based PBIS Management System that helps us with our behavior incentive program. You can learn about PBIS Rewards at their website (www.pbisrewards.com). We also use reminders to reinforce behavior expectations. Earned reminders are assigned to school-wide behavioral consequences.
PBIS with Parents & Families:
PBIS Rewards has a Family App that will give you some insight into how your child is doing with respect to our PBIS program. The Family App will run on most smart devices, including smartphones and tablets. You can find it in the iPhone/iPad App Store, Google Play, and the Amazon App Store. Just search for "PBIS Rewards Family."
You can add more than one student to the app, even if they go to different schools, as long as the school is using PBIS Rewards.
We encourage you to talk with your student about what they must do to be successful with PBIS Rewards and to encourage them when you see them being successful.

PBIS Recognition:
At HBMS, we believe in recognizing and celebrating positive behavior. Students are acknowledged daily when they demonstrate our school wide expectations of being READY, RESPECTFUL, and RESPONSIBLE. In addition, each classroom highlights a PBIS student of the week with a PBIS certificate, recognizing students who consistently demonstrate positive behavior and contribute to a positive learning environment.
We also celebrate our staff by recognizing a Teacher of the Month, honoring educators who go above and beyond to support students and model our PBIS values throughout the school community.
PBIS Store:
Students who earn PBIS points through positive behavior and participation can redeem their points in HBMS PBIS store. The store allows students to purchase a variety of items such as snacks, candy, school supplies, and other fun incentives.
Students may redeem points through school wide PBIS store or through classroom teachers' PBIS stores, depending on their teacher's system. This helps motivate students to continue demonstrating positive behavior while reinforcing our school expectations

Families pay an important role in supporting our PBIS program. Parents and guardians can help reinforce positive behaviors by talking with their students about the importance of following our school wide expectations of being READY, RESPECTFUL, and RESPONSIBLE in all areas of the school building.

We encourage families to discuss our school discipline policy, celebrate their students' positive choices, and remind them that their actions contribute to a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment for everyone at Haynes Bridge Middle School.
PBIS Store Donations: (Insert pictures of store items) see attached
Haynes Bridge welcomes community and family support for our PBIS School Store. Donations help us continue recognizing and rewarding students who demonstrate our school-wide expectations of being READY, RESPECTFUL, and RESPONSIBLE.
Families and community members may donate items such as PACKAGED candy, snacks, small prizes, school supplies, fidget items, and other student and staff friendly incentives that can be used as PBIS rewards.
Donated items can be delivered to the school office. Please label all donations "PBIS School Store" so they can be directed to the PBIS team.
We currently have a "Donors Choose" page where supporters can purchase items that will be shipped directly to HBMS to support our PBIS initiatives.
